What We Handle

Types of abuse we look into

If your situation involves a domain, server or account we host, we want to hear about it — every report gets checked against our acceptable use policy.

Unwanted bulk email

Bulk or unsolicited mail, mailing-list misuse, or messages you believe were sent from an account or server on our platform.

Phishing and scams

Fake login pages, spoofed bank sites, or lookalike brand pages built to trick visitors into handing over passwords, card numbers or personal details.

Malware and attack code

A site pushing viruses, trojans, ransomware or drive-by downloads, or pages running exploit kits and other malicious scripts.

Network misuse

Port scans, brute-force login attempts, denial-of-service traffic, botnet command-and-control, or any other unauthorized activity.

Copyright and DMCA claims

Work published without the rights holder's consent. Send proof of ownership along with your claim so we can act on it quickly.

Illegal or dangerous content

Content that breaks the law or our acceptable use policy, including fraud, hateful material or anything that puts people at risk.

How To Send a Report

Route your report to the right people

The quickest route to us is the contact form, which lands directly with the people who look into abuse. Rather send an email? Write to our abuse desk at info@hostingally.com.

Spell out exactly what you found and where you found it. A focused report — the specific link, the behavior you noticed, and the evidence behind it — lets us confirm things and respond far quicker than a vague complaint.

  • Reach us via the contact form or the abuse inbox
  • Give us the specific URL or IP
  • Include evidence, not just a summary
  • Keep it to one issue per report

What To Send Us

Information that helps us move fast

You do not need to cover every point here, but the more detail you provide, the sooner we can confirm the issue and respond.

  • The precise URL, domain or IP address involved
  • What kind of abuse you are reporting
  • Complete email headers, for spam or phishing cases
  • When you saw it happen — date, time and timezone
  • Any screenshots or log excerpts that back it up
  • Proof of ownership, if this is a copyright issue
  • A direct link to the problem content, not just the homepage
  • A case number, if you have reported this before
  • A way to reach you if we need more information
  • Whether the problem is still happening or already resolved

What We Promise

After you send a report

Every report lands on a monitored abuse desk that is staffed at all hours. We target a reply to genuine reports within 24 hours, and live threats such as active phishing or malware jump straight to the front of the line.

We confirm the content is actually on our network, measure it against our acceptable use policy, and respond in a way that fits — a warning, a content suspension, or closing the account entirely. Your report stays confidential the whole way through.

  • A reply within 24 hours
  • Reviewed by a trained team
  • Your identity stays private
  • A fitting response, urgent cases first

The Process

From your report to our response

1

Collect your evidence

Note the URL or IP, the type of abuse, and gather any headers, logs or screenshots that show what is going on. More detail means a faster review.

2

Get it to us

Share what you found through our contact form or by emailing the abuse desk directly. Everything you send lands straight with the team handling investigations.

3

We look into it

We confirm receipt of your report, check that we actually host the content, and take fitting action against anything that breaks our rules.

What You Can Expect

How your report gets treated

Sending us a report should feel safe and worth your time. We are on your side, and here is what our team guarantees.

Kept confidential

We treat every report as private and never reveal who sent it to the site owner or the party involved.

Checked by a real person

A trained team member looks at the evidence, confirms we host it, and weighs the report against our acceptable use policy before acting.

A response that fits

Depending on how serious it is, we may warn the customer, suspend the content, or close the account outright — the worst cases are handled first.

Is someone in immediate danger?

This form covers content and network misuse. If a life is at risk or a crime is happening right now, contact your local emergency services or law enforcement first — then send us the details so we can take action on our end.

Questions

Answers about reporting abuse

How do I report a site hosted with HostingAlly?

Use our contact form, or send an email straight to the abuse desk. Tell us the exact URL or IP address, what type of abuse it is, and attach whatever evidence you have — email headers, screenshots or log entries all help. A detailed report lets us verify things and respond much faster.

How quickly will you respond to an abuse report?

Someone watches our abuse desk at all hours, and we target a reply to every legitimate report inside 24 hours. Urgent situations, like live phishing or active malware, jump the queue and get looked at the moment they land with the team.

Will you tell the site owner who reported them?

No. Every report stays confidential, and we will not pass your identity along to the customer or party named in it. We might share the technical specifics of a complaint if that is needed to look into it, but your personal contact details never get shared.

What happens after I submit a report?

We check that the content actually sits on our network, measure it against our acceptable use policy, and respond in a way that fits — a warning, suspending the content, or closing the account. Anything that puts visitors at real risk, such as phishing or malware, gets handled first.

I received spam that claims to come from your network. What do I do?

Forward it to our abuse desk along with the complete email headers. The headers show us whether the message truly came from our servers or was faked to look that way, so send those along rather than just pasting the body of the message.

How do I file a copyright or DMCA complaint?

Send a notice through our contact form naming the copyrighted work, linking directly to the infringing content, confirming that you hold the rights or represent the rights holder, and including a way to reach you. A complete notice means we can act on a valid claim right away.

Can I report abuse anonymously?

You are welcome to, though leaving a contact address helps a great deal. Without one, we have no way to ask follow-up questions, tell you what action we took, or reach out if we need more proof. Whatever address you share stays confidential and is used only for that investigation.

Spotted a problem? Tell us.

Share the details and our abuse desk will take a look. Every report gets reviewed, and who you are stays confidential.
