A hosting company that's actually worth joining

HostingAlly is a small, remote-first crew with one goal: make fast, dependable hosting genuinely affordable — and stay upfront about every bit of it. There are no open roles today, but good people are always welcome to introduce themselves.

Remote-First

Work from the place that suits you best

Remote work isn't a perk we tacked on afterward — it's baked into how the company runs. There's no office commute and no relocation talks to have. You join us from right where you already live and think best.

Spanning time zones means we depend on clear writing and async updates, which lets people guard long blocks of focus time instead of bouncing from call to call. When we do get on a call, it's because the conversation genuinely needs one.

  • Remote-first since the very start
  • Async-first, so deep focus wins out
  • Teammates spread across many time zones
  • What you deliver counts more than hours clocked

What We Value

How we really operate

A short set of principles we hire against and run the team by — not a framed poster in a lobby we don't even have.

Plain talk over hype

We tell customers and each other the truth, even when a slicker line would sound better. Clarity beats cleverness here, every time.

Trusted to run with it

You get real responsibility, not a checklist to follow. We look for people who can make the call, ship the work, and stand behind the result.

Everyone pitches in on support

The people closest to customers have the biggest say in what we build. Getting someone's site working again is treated as real, valued work here.

Lean on purpose

Running an efficient company is how we keep our prices fair. That same discipline shows up in how we build, spend and hire.

Room to be curious

Question the plan, poke at assumptions, pitch a better way. A good idea can come from anyone on any team, not just the top.

Direct, but kind

Feedback here is plainspoken, and we take it well too. We don't treat honesty and respect as a trade-off — we expect both at once.

Life On The Team

A small team, real say in the outcome

On a small team, solid work never goes unnoticed — and neither does busywork. What you ship reaches customers fast, and you get to watch it make a difference instead of watching it vanish into some process.

Management stays simple here, and communication stays direct. Spot something broken or something that could work better? You're trusted to speak up and, usually, to go fix it yourself.

  • What you build gets seen and it counts
  • Direct lines to everyone, no layers to navigate
  • Feedback that's honest, delivered kindly
  • Room to fix whatever's bothering you

Every CV is reviewed by a real teammate. If it looks like a match, now or down the road as we grow, we'll reach out to set up a relaxed first chat.

3

A straightforward conversation

We'll talk openly about the role, the day-to-day work and what's expected on both sides, so whatever comes next is a decision you make with the full picture.

No Open Roles Today

Nothing open right now — but we're always listening

We'd sooner leave a seat unfilled than post a job we don't genuinely need — that's part of what staying lean and honest means to us. So rather than a long list of vacancies, we just keep the door open.

If HostingAlly sounds like somewhere you'd fit, send over your CV with a few lines about what you're great at and what you'd like to build. When the right role does open, the people who already introduced themselves are exactly who we turn to first.

  • A real teammate reads every single CV
  • Strong applications stay on file with us
  • You'll be first in line once a role opens up
  • A brief note on your strengths goes a long way

FAQ

Life at HostingAlly

Are there any current job openings?

Not right now. We stay small and deliberately lean, and we only create a position when there's real, lasting work behind it, never just to fill a page. Instead of posting placeholder listings, we ask that you send in your CV — when a genuine opening does appear, the people who already reached out are the first ones we call.

Should I still apply when nothing is posted?

Definitely. Every CV we receive stays on file, and we go back through them whenever we're planning a new role. A brief, specific note about what you're good at and what you'd like to work on helps us see where you'd slot in, so those few minutes spent sending one over are worth it.

Does the team work fully remotely?

Yes, remote is our default setup, and the team is spread across a range of time zones. We lean heavily on async communication so people can protect long stretches of focus instead of hopping between calls. There's no headquarters to move near — wherever you do your best work is exactly where we want you.

Who tends to thrive on this team?

Folks who take ownership of their work, write and speak clearly, and genuinely care about the person on the other end of a support request. We'd rather have honesty than polish, curiosity than ego, and we look for people who direct themselves well without anyone looking over their shoulder.

What's the best way to submit my CV?

Visit our contact page and attach your CV, along with a few lines about what you're strong at and the kind of work that excites you. Feel free to link anything you're proud of — a portfolio, a side project, a code repository — and we'll take it from there.
