Two agreements, not one

The terms of service govern hosting you have purchased. These govern the website itself and bind every visitor, customer or otherwise. Where both touch a service you hold, the terms of service prevail.

1. Permitted use

Read it, link to it, quote it with attribution, run the domain search freely. Not permitted:

• scraping at a rate that degrades service, or circumventing rate limits on search and pricing endpoints;
• republishing substantial portions of the writing as your own, including as generated output presented as original;
• framing or presenting it so as to imply an endorsement or partnership that does not exist;
• probing for vulnerabilities outside the terms in the data security statement.

2. Ownership

Text, layout, artwork and marks belong to Fairdeal Renovations Limited. Photography is licensed to us and a licence to quote text does not extend to it. Third-party product names — cPanel, WordPress, WHMCS and others — belong to their owners and appear descriptively, not to assert any association.

3. Pricing and specification

Prices are quoted and charged in US dollars. Local-currency figures are live conversions offered for orientation; the sum debited is the dollar amount at your bank's rate.

Domain pricing originates with registries and moves. A published figure is an invitation to treat rather than a binding offer; the binding figure is the one in the basket at the moment of payment. Where a price is displayed in manifest error we are not obliged to honour it, and you will hear before any payment is taken rather than after.

Specifications change as the platform is upgraded. Changes reducing what an existing service delivers are notified to affected customers.

4. Guidance is general

Guides, comparisons and knowledge-base material are researched and written to be useful, but they are general information rather than advice on your circumstances. Nothing here constitutes legal, tax or financial advice, and an article on company structure or on handling customer data does not substitute for a professional familiar with your situation.

Competitor comparisons reflect publicly available information at the time of writing. Providers change pricing without notice, so verify before relying on one.

5. Outbound links

We link to registries, documentation and tooling where those are the better answer. Those sites are not under our control, are not endorsed wholesale, and their handling of your data is their own.

6. Availability

This site is provided as it stands and is not covered by the service level agreement, which applies to purchased hosting rather than to our own brochure. Pages may be altered, relocated or withdrawn without notice.

7. Liability

So far as the law permits, no liability is accepted for loss arising from reliance on general information published here, from third-party sites reached by our links, or from this site being unavailable.

Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Consumer statutory rights are unaffected.

8. Cookies and personal data

Browser storage is covered by the cookie policy. Personal data handling is in the privacy policy, and exercising a right over it in GDPR and your data rights.

9. Governing law

Governed by the law of England and Wales, whose courts have jurisdiction. Consumers resident elsewhere in the UK may also bring proceedings locally.
