Two agreements, not one

The terms of service govern hosting you have bought. What follows governs the website itself, and it binds every visitor, whether they are a customer or not. Where both reach a service you hold, the terms of service win.

1. Permitted use

Reading, linking, quoting with attribution, running the domain search as much as you like: all fine. These are not:

• scraping hard enough to degrade the service, or working around the rate limits on search and pricing endpoints;
• passing off substantial chunks of the writing here as yours, generated output dressed up as original very much included;
• framing or dressing the site up to suggest an endorsement or a partnership which does not exist;
• hunting for vulnerabilities beyond the terms set out in the data security statement.

2. Ownership

Copy, layout, artwork and the marks all belong to Fairdeal Renovations Limited. The photography is licensed to us, and permission to quote our text buys you nothing over the images. Third-party product names such as cPanel, WordPress and WHMCS, among others, belong to their owners; they appear here to describe things, not to claim any association.

3. Pricing and specification

We quote and charge in US dollars. Any local-currency figure you see is a live conversion, there to orient you; what actually leaves your account is the dollar amount, at your bank's rate.

Domain pricing starts with the registries, and it moves. Treat any published figure as an invitation to treat rather than a binding offer; the figure that binds is the one sitting in your basket at the moment you pay. Where a price appears in manifest error, we are under no obligation to honour it, and you will hear from us before any payment is taken, not afterwards.

As the platform is upgraded, specifications change. Where a change cuts what an existing service delivers, the customers affected are told about it.

4. Guidance is general

The guides, the comparisons and the knowledge-base material are researched and written to be genuinely useful, but all of it is general information rather than advice about your own circumstances. Nothing published here amounts to legal, tax or financial advice. An article on company structure, or on handling customer data, is no substitute for a professional who knows your situation.

A comparison against a competitor reflects publicly available information as it stood when written. Providers move their pricing without warning, so check before you rely on one.

5. Outbound links

Where a registry, a piece of documentation or a tool is simply the better answer, we link to it. Those sites sit outside our control, carry no wholesale endorsement from us, and how they handle your data is their business.

6. Availability

The site comes exactly as it stands, and it is not covered by the service level agreement, which governs hosting you have purchased rather than this brochure of ours. Any page here may be rewritten, moved elsewhere or removed without notice.

7. Liability

So far as the law allows, we accept no liability for loss that arises from relying on general information published here, from third-party sites you reach through our links, or from this site being unavailable at any point.

None of this excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law will not let us exclude. Statutory rights held by consumers stay untouched.

8. Cookies and personal data

Storage in your browser falls under the cookie policy. How personal data is handled sits inside the privacy policy, and exercising any right over it is described in GDPR and your data rights.

9. Governing law

Governed by the law of England and Wales, and jurisdiction belongs to its courts. Consumers resident anywhere else in the UK may similarly bring proceedings locally instead.
