Accessibility Statement

Scope

The marketing site at hostingally.com. It does not cover the billing and client area, third-party software we configure but did not write, nor the hosting control panel, which sits with the platform supplier.

1. Target standard

WCAG 2.2 level AA. Stated plainly, the position is largely conformant: across the pages we tested, the guidelines are satisfied, apart from those exceptions written down in section 3.

"Largely" is doing real work in that sentence. To claim full conformance across a site whose generated pages have never been tested one by one would be a claim we could not evidence. An overstated statement is worse than no statement at all, because it tells a disabled visitor to expect something that might not be there.

2. What is in place

• Colours for text and interface elements are checked against the 4.5:1 and 3:1 contrast thresholds.
• The keyboard focus indicator stays visible everywhere and never vanishes against the dark surface.
• On their shorter edge, primary controls measure 44px. Tightly packed link rows, the footer policy index among them, come in at 32px. That clears the 24px floor WCAG 2.2 sets in 2.5.8, but it falls short of 44px, so we do not claim that figure for them.
• Animation here is decorative, and it stops dead under prefers-reduced-motion.
• Real headings, lists and landmarks build these pages, not styled containers dressed up to look like them, and every form control carries a label instead of leaning on placeholder text.
• Down to 320px the layout reflows with no horizontal scrolling, which satisfies WCAG 1.4.10. That was not true until 19 August 2026. Until then the navigation rail ran 146px wider than a 1280px viewport, and 49px wider than a 320px one. Both faults are now fixed.

3. Known limitations

Recorded rather than excused.

• Nothing in the build checks it automatically. A person checks contrast and structure by hand at review time, which means a regression can sit there until somebody notices.
• Generated pages are untested individually. Reviewed templates sit behind them, though nobody has taken a screen reader through each page individually.
• Purely decorative images carry empty alt text. Right for decoration. A handful of those images are arguably informative, though, and ought to describe themselves.
• Supplier surfaces.Checkout, the client area and the control panel are other companies' software. We report defects upstream; making the fix is not in our hands.

4. Reporting a barrier

info@hostingally.com, or the contact page. Tell us which page, what you were trying to do, and what blocked you. Browser and assistive technology details help, but are not required.

Response within five working days. If a barrier stops you finishing a purchase or getting through to support, say so. We will complete it with you by some other route, while the underlying defect is being dealt with.

A response that disappoints escalates through the complaints procedure.

5. Assessment method

This is a self-assessment: keyboard traversal done by hand, contrast measured right across the palette, and layout checked at viewport widths from 320px upward. That last method is how the reflow faults above were quantified rather than guessed at. We have commissioned no independent audit, and this statement will keep saying so until we do.
