Accessibility Statement

Scope
The marketing site at hostingally.com. Not the billing and client area, which is third-party software we configure rather than author, and not the hosting control panel, which belongs to the platform supplier.
1. Target standard
WCAG 2.2 level AA. The honest assessment is largely conformant: the guidelines are met across tested pages, with the exceptions recorded in section 3.
"Largely" is load-bearing. Claiming full conformance across a site whose generated pages have never been individually tested would be a claim we cannot evidence, and an overstated statement is worse than none — it tells a disabled visitor to expect something that may not be there.
2. What is in place
- Text and interface colours are set against the 4.5:1 and 3:1 contrast thresholds.
- Keyboard focus is visible throughout and does not disappear against the dark surface.
- Primary controls are 44px on their shorter edge. Dense link rows such as the footer policy index are 32px — above the 24px floor set by WCAG 2.2 in 2.5.8, but not the 44px figure, so it is not claimed for them.
- Motion is decorative and halts entirely under
prefers-reduced-motion. - Pages are built from real headings, lists and landmarks rather than styled containers, and form controls carry labels rather than relying on placeholder text.
- The layout reflows to 320px without horizontal scrolling, satisfying WCAG 1.4.10. It did not until 19 August 2026: the navigation rail was 146px wider than a 1280px viewport and 49px wider than a 320px one. Both are fixed.
3. Known limitations
Recorded rather than excused.
- No automated checking in the build. Contrast and structure are verified manually at review time, so a regression can survive until someone looks.
- Generated pages are untested individually. They follow reviewed templates, but no screen reader has been run across them one by one.
- Decorative imagery carries empty alt text. Correct for decoration, but a handful of images are arguably informative and should describe themselves.
- Supplier surfaces.Checkout, client area and control panel are other companies' software. Defects are reported upstream; the fix is not ours to make.
4. Reporting a barrier
info@hostingally.com, or the contact page. Name the page, what you were attempting and what obstructed it. Browser and assistive technology help but are not required.
Response within five working days. Where a barrier prevents you completing a purchase or reaching support, say so — we will complete it with you by another route while the underlying defect is addressed.
An unsatisfactory response escalates through the complaints procedure.
5. Assessment method
Self-assessment: manual keyboard traversal, contrast measurement across the palette, and layout measured at viewport widths from 320px upward — which is how the reflow faults noted above were quantified rather than estimated. No independent audit has been commissioned and this statement will say so until one has.
Prepared 19 August 2026 and reviewed when the site changes materially.
6. Contracting entity
HostingAlly operates as a trading name of Fairdeal Renovations Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under Company No. 15026869. Registered office: The Workspace Basildon, 7 High Pavement, Basildon, England, SS14 1EA. Accessibility feedback to info@hostingally.com.
